Yep, those are the pull strings for a ceiling fan. He does this over, and over, and over again. I took these shots over the course of four different self-propelled launches. And as I sit at this computer, I can hear him in the other room, thumping every time he (not so) gracefully lands on the floor.
Hope this is just a phase.
